The Film & TV Producers’ Welfare Association (FTPA)®, in collaboration with FCC South Asia, successfully hosted an engaging AI Workshop for Media Professionals on 3rd April 2026 at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia.

Led by industry expert Dr. Nimish Kapoor, the workshop explored the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in storytelling, filmmaking, and media content creation includinhg news. It brought together media professionals, journalists and creators to understand practical AI applications in the evolving media landscape.

With an impressive turnout of 70+ attendees, including international participants, the event encouraged insightful discussions, learning and networking.

This initiative reflects FTPA’s commitment to empowering its members with future-ready knowledge and strengthening its presence within the media and creative ecosystem.
